savannah, ga travel guide

my family took a trip to savannah to celebrate New Years & it was so fun! we loved getting to learn about the history of savannah. we enjoyed cute shops, yummy food, the beautiful weather, and how walkable everything was! if you’re planning a trip to savannah, add these spots to your list.

Favorite restaurant: Clary’s cafe

Go grab breakfast from this local spot! Its delicious! I would recommend arriving right when they open to avoid a long wait!

Favorite Place to Shop: E. Shaver, bookseller

If you’re a book lover, this spot will make all your bookshop dreams come true! It seems small from the outside but the ongoing shelves are full of classic & new reads to keep you in there for hours. Make sure you pet the shop cats and leave a note from the typewriter, too!

Favorite Brewery: moonriver brewery

Grab a beer & some lunch at this historic & haunted brewery!

Visit the squares

Savannah is full of parks & squares! Enjoy a walk and make sure to read the signs to discover the history of these squares!

Walk along the river walk

The river walk is very touristy but I would recommend checking it out for a little bit and check out the shops along river street!
