clean your bathroom
if you’re like me, there are about a million things you’d rather do than clean your bathroom! between the germs, dirt, and obnoxious chemicals, it quickly becomes a task to delegate to a roommate, spouse, or a kid old enough to wield a toilet wand. Hello to Thieves Household Cleaner. With these cleaning hacks, you can replace the harsh chemicals with this powerful, safe cleaner and make scrubbing down every bathroom surface a little more bearable.
THE BATHTUB:
make a thick paste with Thieves household cleaner and baking soda. Apply to tub and scrub with a clean, soft cloth or sponge. Let sit 5 minutes and rinse clean.
THE FLOOR:
mix 1/8 cup Thieves dish soap, 1/8 cup white vinegar, and 1 gallon warm water in a bucket. Use to mop floors. I love to add some pine essential oil for a fresh scent!
SINK AND COUNTER:
combine 3 cups water and 1 capful Thieves household cleaner in a spray bottle. Spray surfaces liberally with solution and wipe clean.
MIRRORS AND GLASS:
combine 3 cups water, 5 drops citrus fresh, 1 teaspoon white vinegar, and 1 capful Thieves household cleaner in a spray bottle. Spray mirrors liberally with solution and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
TOILET:
combine 1 cup water and 1 capful Thieves household cleaner in a spray bottle. Spray toilet bowl liberally, let sit for 15 minutes, then scrub with a brush. Flush to rinse. Wipe down seat and out surfaces with Thieves wipes. And for a deeper clean, use the same paste as listed above under "bathtub."
TRASH CAN:
pour 1-2 capfuls of thieves household cleaner into trash can, fill with water, and let it sit for several hours. Pour out water and wipe dry. Put 3 drops citrus fresh or purification on a cotton ball and place at the bottom of trash can before replacing liner.
