you have to try these black bean burgers

Andrew & I have been on a vegetarian/plant-based diet for a few months now and one thing we have been loving are black bean burgers. They have a nice texture & flavor. They are super easy to make and only take about 30 minutes. You can make extras & freeze them, too. So whether your looking for a healthier alternative or looking to try something new, give these a shot!


Recipe (makes 6-8 burgers):

1 can of black beans, drain & bake at 350 for 15 minutes. 

1 cup of Quinoa, Cooked according to package

3/4 cups of rolled oats

1/2 onion, chopped

2 tablespoons of Ketch up 

Dash of salt & pepper

Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor.

Pat out mixture into patties. 

Bake patties at 350 for 15 minutes, flip burgers at least once.

Top with your favorite toppings & you’re good to go.
