3 things we loved about the outer banks
my husband & i got back from our first trip in our van! we traveled to the outer banks and had a blast. i wanted to share three things we loved about the outer banks!
Frisco camp ground
we stayed at frisco camp ground for a big portion of our trip. this campsite was so nice because the shrubs offered shade which is rare in the outerbanks. also, the restrooms were very clean which was a bonus for me!
jokey ridge sand dunes
we spent a few hours playing on the largest sand dunes in the eastern united states. it was so fun & cash loved it! I probably wouldn’t recommend this activity in the summer time - i imagine it would be hot as hell but it was perfect in April!
cape hatteras light house
while the outer banks is known for its beautiful light houses, this was our favorite one! it was made of brick which is very rare & it was actually moved from its original location. it was pet friendly and we were able to explore the grounds on our own.
